I started helping my Dad with his taxes at age 15 and enjoyed the work, so I always did my own taxes and some for a couple friends. In 2007 I started checking into buying a tax franchise, but decided against it due to the high upfront cost. Then I took classes online and started doing taxes for the general public in 2008, 2007 tax year and my client base has grown every year since. We do mostly personal taxes although we also do some 1065s. About 2013 we added payroll and bookkeeping to our practice. I enjoy working with people and getting to know new people.
